CZECH JUNIOR TEAM

Junior cricket in Prague is growing fast! Coached and managed by Scott Page of Prague Bohemians cricket club, the Czech Junior Cricket Team is a veritable smorgasbord of nationalities. We even have a few Czechs!

Over the past two years, the junior interest in cricket has grown. After a fairly slow start we are now seeing as many as twenty four children at Sunday morning practices!

The children have competed in Ceske Budejovice, Munich and Vienna, and we had a very successful 5-nations tournament. This was the first junior tournament to be hosted in Prague and will hopefully be an annual event. The success of the tournament has prompted the CCU to nominate our Junior Club for the ICC Development Program Junior Initiatives award!

In winter, we practice at the EISP. During the warmer months, practice is outdoors - usually at the ground in Vypich. View our training times for the beginning of 2008.
